Are you looking for something fun for these school holidays? We have just the ticket for your kids to have some fun, learn a new skill and the best part is they can grab their besties and have fun with friends. We have three different workshops on offer these school holidays where we hope to inspire creativity and teach some skills in a hands on and fun environment. Bonus is the workshops are fun and everyone gets to leave with something they created under the guidance of our creative makers.
These school holiday activities are a great time for kids to step away from the structured school environment and use their imagination to create something cool just for themselves. These workshops are great for skill development and to build confidence with a sense of accomplishment from creating something from scratch.
Knitted name workshop
In the knitted name workshop your children will join lucie from Oh Hello Joy to create their own name with wool and wire. With lots of different colours to choose and all the templates, Lucie will help the kids create with own name using French knitted cord. This workshop is great for kids aged 6 and up and is beginner friendly.
Flower crown workshop
Do you love flowers? Krystie from Wildflower girl will teach your children how to create their very own flower crown. This school holiday workshop will let you play with flowers and create a beautiful crown to wear time and again. This workshop is suitable for ages 12 and up. Your children will get to learn all the design basics, colour coordination, flower wrapping, and how to choose and mix flowers to find their own style.
Paint a pot workshop
Our third school holiday activity is for the plant lovers. We have concrete pots ready to start painting with Chalked up Furniture Paint and we have a wide range of colours to paint a pot. We have a range of design options on display and your kids can use their imagination to plan out a design and paint their own pot.
These workshops are always a hit and your children can experiment with colours, textures and techniques while creating their own masterpiece.
We are looking to plan more workshops for adults and kids throughout the next few months so hit us up with your ideas on what you would like to learn. Our plans so far are Halloween French knitted shapes, and flower wreaths for Christmas.
