Teval - Teval Guner Ceramics
Teval is a ceramic artist with a deep love for clay and the many ways it can be shaped, formed and transformed. For her, ceramics are a special kind of art — organic, tactile and full of visual beauty.
She loves the process of working with her hands and creating something from a material that comes straight from the earth. After discovering clay through vessel making, Teval went on to study Fine Arts Ceramics and has since exhibited her work in a number of shows.
Her practice includes sculptural pieces, vessels and commissioned work, including pieces created for Chef Somer Sivrioglu’s restaurants Anason in Barangaroo and Efendy in Balmain. At Creative Village, you’ll find Teval’s ceramic creations, thoughtful pieces shaped with care, skill and a love for the beauty of clay.
