FOR ME CERAMICS WAS ALWAYS A SPECIAL TYPE OF ART FOR VISUAL PLEASURE. CLAY'S ORGANIC NATURE, MASS ABUNDANCE, AND VARIETY OF TECHNIQUES MAKE IT SO SPECIAL.
Working with your hands and feeling the sense of accomplishment after creating something with a material that comes straight from the earth is one of the greatest joys of this art form. After getting introduced to the fundamentals of clay through vessel making in a workshop it was inevitable to decide to study Fine Arts-Ceramics.
It was therefore a pleasure to have my work displayed in a number of exhibitions and several of my sculptures were also appreciated by many art lovers. My work also includes commissioned pieces for the well-known Chef Somer Sivrioglu for his restaurants Anason in Barangaroo, Sydney and Efendy in Balmain, Sydney.
