Alyssa - Muscle Creek Creative
Alyssa is the maker behind Muscle Creek Creative, an Upper Hunter business bringing together Australian made furniture paint, upcycled home décor, handmade candles, wax diffusers and creative DIY kits.
Alyssa has been restoring and upcycling furniture for many years. Her Chalked Up Furniture Paint range began when she started making her own paint after struggling to find a local Australian made option. What started as
something she used for her own projects quickly grew after friends and family encouraged her to share it.
Her furniture paint is water based, low VOC and designed to make furniture painting easier, with beautiful coverage, a soft matte finish and no need to sand or prime most surfaces first. Alyssa is passionate about sustainability, upcycling and helping people give old furniture a second life instead of replacing it with something new.
Alongside her paint range, Alyssa also creates small painted furniture pieces, upcycled vintage bottles, jars and vases, soy wax bar diffusers, beeswax candles and DIY candle kits. Her work is full of creativity, care and a love for turning simple things into something useful, beautiful and loved again.
