HANDMADE GIFT GIVING

Buying Gift Packs from Local Artists is the Perfect Christmas Gift Idea

The holiday season is a time of joy, and generosity with your family and friends. As you plan your Christmas gift-giving, consider stepping away from mass-produced items and choose to buy locally made gifts. Supporting local artists and makers not only adds a unique, personal touch to your presents but also keeps our creative community thriving.

Our gift packs have been curated by us using only local artists and makers and usually are one of a kind due to the handmade nature of what we do.  Everyone loves beautiful body and bath products and pair that up with a candle and a ceramic soap dish and you have a thoughtful handmade gift pack.

The best part of gifting something handmade is you are sharing a piece of someones creativity.

Our local economy thrives on supporting each other and we like to use local Newcastle printers for our artworks, and also to print our information cards and price tags.  We live by the ethos of shop local. So every purchase from us supports local artists and other local businesses. It creates a ripple effect across the local community and is so worthwhile.

To be honest this support at christmas time sustains us throughout the quieter months and we use those quiet times to make and create ready for christmas gift giving.

So many of our makers prioritise sustainability and use recycled materials and eco-friendly packaging, making our gift packs a greener choice.

We have customisable options too!  You just need to ask and we can usually accomodate what you are after.  If you want to source bespoke gift packs for your corporate gifting and sticking to a budget we would be happy to help you stick to your budget while supporting local artists and makers. We can absolutely tailor a gift pack for what you want.  We also have the option of coming into the shop at Charlestown Square and choosing a basket or gift box, then wandering around and choosing just what you want.  We can help with adding some tissue paper and a ribbon and tada you have the perfect Christmas gift.

By coming into our shop of beautiful at Charlestown Square or the Georgetown studio you get to connect with the artists and makers who volunteer in the shop.  We have painters, potters, jewellery makers, knitters, sewers, sculptors, portraitists  and so much more.  We love our shop of beautiful.
