Louise - Louise Faulkner Photography
Louise Faulkner is a photographic artist based in Newcastle, NSW, on Awabakal Country. With a background in science and ecological resources, she is deeply inspired by the natural world and the stories held within landscapes, people and place.
Her work explores memory, remembering and emotional connection through visual storytelling. Louise works with digital photography as well as alternative photographic processes, including cyanotypes created from original and found black-and-white photographs.
At Creative Village Georgetown, you’ll find Louise’s photographic artworks, cyanotypes and collage pieces, including works inlaid into vintage plates. Louise regularly exhibits locally and interstate, and has been a finalist in the Bowness Photography Prize and the Head On Photo Awards.
