Kishani - Damica Designs
Kishani is a local Newcastle artist with a lifelong love of art and design. After studying visual arts through school, she went
on to complete a Bachelor of Fine Art at the University of Newca
stle, and now brings her bright, bold style to a beautiful range of handmade pieces.
Her work is inspired by Australian native plants and animals, as well as her Sri Lankan heritage. You’ll often find native flowers, colour, pattern and detailed illustration throughout her designs.
At Creative Village, you’ll find Kishani’s serving boards with painted and wood-burnt illustrations, earrings, keyrings, jars with wood-burnt lids, tea towels printed with her artwork, prints and original artworks.
