Alexandra is a certificated filigree silversmith and her fascination for this beautiful and old technique including precise, delicacy and uniqueness has made her find the oldest masters of filigree in Macedonia and learn from them.

These ancient jewels throughout history were worn solely by royalties and nobles, and nowadays Alex' designs are all you'll need to wear if you want to stand out from the crowd.

Filigree technique dates from 6th century in Byzantium and is one of the oldest handmade jewellery techniques that includes melting silver, extracting wire, making loops and other forms of filigree techniques, soldering silver elements, cleaning and polishing products.

Alex filigrees products are made of 999 silver that is considered as pure silver, and when needed she includes 925 silver.

Every piece is a completely unique design and piece, handmade by Alex in her home studio in Newcastle.
