Welcome to Chrisabelle (formerly Handmade by Angel).
My name is Angel and I am passionate about making clasp purses and bags. My passion started when my family emigrated to Australia. Not only did I have to adapt to a new country, but also I no longer worked full-time as a teacher and became a stay-at-home mum. With my new-found free time, I started sewing and crafting. I soon found an interest in making bags and purses. My goal soon became to make PERFECT bags that looked store bought. After much trial and error with fabric, textures, thicknesses and interfacings, I have now found the correct design formula to achieve this.
After hours of sewing each bag and assembling the frame to the top, I love to see my creations come together. There is great enjoyment and sense of fulfillment from making them!
